Space the Man

Songs written and recorded in spare bedrooms in Florida, Indiana, and Kauaʻi.

Panorama of the home studio: guitars on the walls, amps, a pedalboard mid-tangle, and a bed covered in gear.

About

I've been writing songs since I was a teenager — the black-and-white photo up there is the proof, and the fringe came later. These days it's spare bedrooms — Florida mostly, Indiana and Kauaʻi when I'm lucky: a wall of guitars, a pedalboard I keep meaning to organize, and a dog who sleeps through every take.

Everything here was written, played, and recorded at home. New songs go up on YouTube as they're finished.

Has shared stages with

G. Love & Special Sauce · Dave Matthews · Jack Johnson · Donavon Frankenreiter · Wilco · Modest Mouse · among others

Also in the works: a novel, The Ocean in a Drop, coming in 2027.

A quiet note

If one of these songs sounds like it belongs in something you're making — a film, a show, a scene that needs it — I'd love to hear from you. Write me.
